Serious robbery was registered in a house in the Felix Perez Cardozo area.
The victims are the German couple Torsten J. Gäbelein (56) and Birgit Gäbelein (54).

According to the police complaint, the perpetrators stole about 20,000,000 guaranies, 200 US dollars, a black Samsung mobile phone and identity papers.

The incident was reported when the victims presented themselves at the local police station, where Mr. Gäbelein had a wound on his head that may have been caused by beatings. Since he did not speak Spanish, an interpreter was called in to facilitate communication with the victims. After recording the statements, the employees of the police station, accompanied by the victims and the interpreter, went to the scene of the attack.

According to the victims, at about the time mentioned, two men armed with pistols with short barrels, dressed in face masks and gloves, entered the house on foot and broke open the front door. After tying up the victims with a cable, the perpetrators searched the house for about two hours. Finally, they fled the scene with the stolen items.

Investigators and criminalists were called in to carry out the appropriate procedure and find those responsible for this robbery. The police are continuing their investigations to clarify the facts.
